From Emptiness to Overflowing, S.F.

I got saved at the age of thirty-three. I was empty and lonely. I told my aunt my feeling and one day she asked me to go with her to church. That Sunday I gave Christ my life and He came into my life and made His home in me. Since that day I have not been the same. Praise the Lord for 1 Corinthians 15:3: “Christ died for our sins”.

I met the local church in Houston when one of my sons was going to college. My son met a Christian brother who invited him to the local church. My son started meeting with the believers at the local church and one day he asked me to go with him. When I went, I saw the love of Christ in the brothers and sisters. I had never seen this kind of love and oneness in all my Christian life.

I read books written by Watchman Nee and Witness Lee. These books minister life and the true word to me. I realized that what I read was in God's heart--for us to love Him and love one another as He loves us, to be one with Christ and one another, and to live Christ and let Christ flow out of our spirit (1 John 4:19, 21; John 17:23; Colossians 3:4). What mercy that I can enjoy Him and that He loves me for no reason at all. Oh! Lord Jesus, how I love you! And thank you for changing me from an empty person to a person overflowing with thanksgiving and praise. Praise the Lord for His life in me.
